Fax

The fax machine can be used to both send the survey to respondents as well as to receive the survey. The fax can eliminate keypunching by reading the document directly into the computer upon receipt. Questionnaires can be broadcast during off-peak hours for lower long distance rates. Faxed surveys have the same drawbacks of low response rate and lack of control over implementation as do mailed surveys.

nVision Research does not believe in or support the general wide-spread broadcast of any material. To conduct a professional survey it should be targeted only to a specific audience, with pre-notification where appropriate.
